City Dress – Empires of Honey

There is romance in the air thanks to Brooklyn’s City Dress. They never feel the need to overwhelm, a little piano, some shuffle and a dollop of mood is all it takes to have us wondering whether a slow dance is on today’s menu. Christina Skramstad’s vocals certainly fills the air with romance and an increasingly confident arrangement to go with it means we can suspend the reality of fast and furious living for a several minutes at least. ‘Empires of Honey’ warms the cockles of the heart so is pretty much essential fare.
