A Beacon School – Jon

I wasn’t expecting this at all from A Beacon School given their history in the indie-rock domain but ‘Jon’ stood out even before I realised the thunderous beats were from the Patrick J Smith led troupe. In other words there is the essence of vitality that you’d expect from the Field about this summer banger, never going full-on commercial dancefloor and not needing anything in the way of lyrical imparting but ‘Jon’ still speaks to us and maybe it is just that summer feeling but right now this feels like essential territory for our ears to journey to.
