Twin Rains – You’re The Only One

There is a whole lot going on here, not something for those suffering with a hangover but rather those gearing up for another night on the tiles. Toronto’s Twin Rains (Christine Stoesser/Jay Merrow) make the sort of sound that has us feeling as if we’d be missing out by not being part of their ‘You’re The Only One’. So from that perspective there is much to entertain us here, like Curve used to do back in the day. A dark psychedelic rock trip that might just have been too much to handle were we not completely drawn into its lair. Mesmerising darkness. KH
