The Pretty Flowers – Baby Food

I was taken back to MTV and when they got into reality TV and were using Sugar’s ‘If I Can’t Change Your Mind’ as the theme tune. ‘Baby Food’ is so 90’s and reminiscent of those days, a time when the alternative was the mainstream and for once we were ok with turning on daytime radio. LA’s the Pretty Flowers are pretty fab in their own right because behind all the noise and rapturous momentum is a fine song. Yep, feels good that in 2023 we can have bands so effervescent as this.
