Kess – TV Screen – mp3hugger

The way ‘TV Screen’ opened it could have been ‘Cigarettes and Alcohol’ by Oasis but Kess are a lot less rowdy than that pair even though there is definitely an air of rock and roll filling their lungs. My impression is of an act that is happy to wander as they go while never forgetting the sense of song so Grizzly Bear or even Low may well be a fairer comparison. It might be that ‘TV Screen’ has hidden depth too so it is made for re-inspection to see what might have been missed first time around. Ambitious and with the talent to make good on it. KH
