Jonny G and the Music Factory – Hey Hi How Are Ya

Now that is a uncommon build-up that puts me in mind of early Verve from Seattle’s Jonny G and the Music Factory. At least that was until the vocals arrive which kept that Brian Jonestown Massacre perspective. This is music for headphones, good ones because there is plenty in the classic indie orchestration to distract. Not least because it keeps the pot boiling and adds subtle changes of momentum too so ‘Hey Hi How Are You’ becomes a living breathing organism. Trance like we moved to its ordering but most importantly with a beaming smile in tow. KH
