Tearing Up – Said Something

Sure it is punk but it is done with kids gloves and a chorus that could appeal to those beyond the hard effects of a guitar laced engine room. In other words Tearing Up (Ontario’s Graham Caldwell) have crossed the divide in many respects here, going a little Cure on us but also keeping a lot of themselves too while ensuring that the begining, the middle and the end sees fit to include a song we can all sing along to. I found it all very uplifting, the arrival of a new anthem and not just for the disaffected. Brilliant. KH
