Mister Data – Bad Actors

Oh this is bright and bubbly fare, led by the gilded riffs and an all around La’s like retrobility. With a singer (Austin Sepulvado) who fits into the arrangement like a glove we felt positively blessed that Houston’s Mister Data offered us a second vocalist (Ellen Story) to take ‘Bad Actors’ skywards and in a personal context heartwards because it is a proper indie banger. Yep, full of sucrose turns and with that bit edge so there is longevity here for sure. Will be returning it time and again in 2023. KH
