Plumface – London Day

Reminded me of Ride’s ‘Taste’ and though ‘London Da’y does depart somewhat from that dreaminess there is a spring in its step that continually reminded me of that OX4 quartet. Not least the vocals which have a Mark Gardener fey boy clarity about them. In other words Plumface have gone and hit us up with a song that is bullseye material for those of us still holding a candle for the majesty of the 90’s scene. A superb indie-rock track from the Berlin based UK act. KH
