Elemantra – No Shadow

Talk about a wide canvas being thrown in our direction, the kind of riff that tells us that we’re dealing with bright-eyed kids and to be fair what follows thereafter doesn’t change our mind one iota. There is so much of the 90’s stock in ‘No Shadow’, an arrangement that could and should be Swervedriver so we’re mid hurricane but not wishing for respite to any degree. This is a giant piece of work, Buffalo’s Elemantra a band who don’t know the meaning of holding things in check so not a second is wasted and instead we just glory in the glorious trail of destruction left in its wake.
