Ewan Macintyre – Any Doubt

A slow entrance and given it is early AM we were most grateful for Ewan treating us like that. Country psychedelic it seems is on his mind and what a way to do it, vocals entangled but cavorting in such a manner as to get our heart in a pitter patter motion that is all too rare these days. ‘Any Doubt’ is a romantic gesture you see from this Canadian bard, a timeless rhapsody about the real thing and not just the infactuation side because it sounds like it’s for keeps. Very much like a track which issues cupid arrows in our direction before hitting the target on every occasion. Oh swoon, grandioise old school for contemporary times. KH
