Such a leisurely opening, the kind that you’d reserve for late in the evening but with plenty of the energy to expel because Threads is no shrinking violet. In fact it is quite something, a living breathing piece art that operates with a big heart and an even great ambition for the piece just fills out with each advancing movement to leave us eventually in the lap of an emotional rollercoaster that had me in a swoon for its swirling textures. An absolute beaut. KH
