Modern Diet – Tabletops

Not sure if it is me but Modern Diet appear to be getting better with every release and this one ‘Tabletops’ just adds to that sort of thinking for there is a Shins like insistence of abiding by the sixties laws of sonic physics. So while there are sequences that are off the beaten path it is the main vocal avenue that so insists on getting into summer’s sunshine glow. It could be the predecessor to ‘New Slang’ in fact, a wanderer but still open to sweet nectar for our ears with that prog rock dimension to keep things decidely Modern Diet as it goes. KH
