Walker and the Rebellion – Out of Heaven

Those early stirrings had me thinking premium post-rock of the Explosions in the Sky kind. Walker and the Rebellion proved they had more besides and produced a sound that reminded of several decades back – namely the deepest alternative 90’s. And Walker and the Rebellion come complete with a singer who stands apart from all the euphoric playing to make his own mark. I found the whole thing to be emotional, encouraging us to dream bigger and never give up on our ambitions. Apart from all that it is a colossal piece of indie rock trickery. KH
