Vov Vov! – Nancy’s Track

I love Italy’s Vov Vov! for the simple reason that they channel the best period of Stereolab’s back catalogue for all its worth and ‘Nancy’s Trac’k is a prime case in point as the carnival of off-kilterness extends from the percussion, to the organs and of course the dainty chanteuse at the helm. This is getting away from it all, innocence and no little rebellion because the rules of mainstream pop are torn to shreds in the name of fun, adventure, being oneself and to hell with the consequences.
