That is languid/slacker rock if ever I heard it, probably lending itself to some country rock comparisons but best of all a leaning into the way Wheat used to operate way back. ‘Try’ you see reminded me of that classic act circa 1999 and their wonderful ‘Hope and Adams’ album. Sunnyland are two siblings from Seattle and achieve that low-slung effect with a minimum of fuss – that relaxed style is just ideal for tempering the day. Reminds me of less complicated times and that is worth its weight in gold. KH
