Mary Middlefield – Will You Read My Mind?

I would expect nothing less from a Mary Middlefield song, ambition with the necessary clout in the arrangement to achieve all that was planned and much more. ‘Will Your Read My Mind?’ certainly feels like it has the ability to take flight from that noisy opening that straddles the pop/rock/experimental divide but when it mattered most it just soared. This is emotional and involving stuff, classically endowed to a degree that there is a cinematic scope. There will be tears spilt in its company, but more than that a stirring return to inner harmony into the bargain. Perfection from one of Switzerland’s finest acts. KH
