There is anthemic whoosh to ‘Sun In Your Eyes’ and it reminded me of the better part of the Killers career when they could ride into the sunset like true adventurers and not nr laden down by commercial concerns or the need to go full 80’s on us. This is music that is unencumbered that is for sure, the sort of pulse quickening affair that is forever geared up for a chorus to inspire us into greater feats of living life to the full with a smile on our face. In other words this is life affirming stuff. KH
