Junk Harmony – From April to June

There is a band from the original shoegaze era back in the early 90’s called Chapterhouse (they had a song called ‘April’ too) that I really had a soft spot for and I was reminded of them here by Aussie act Junk Harmony. Mostly when things went supernova on ‘From April To June’, when the swell of noise reached that beautiful degree of immersion where you can almost reach out and feel the levitating melodies. It is to Junk Harmony’s great credit that they keep things moving along in a fashion that that burst of dreaminess never flags. KH
