The sort of tinkering that is needed to theme our downtime because Frosted Moss (Taylor Rigg) hold back, colouring our escapism with a cute piece of reflection before upping the ante in a fashion that sounds like it pulling from a classic era of pop. Namely the sixties, Brendan Benson or when Elliott Smith subtlety set the pulse for many an innocent day. ‘Feasty Boy’ succeeds because it endlessly ebbs and flows and each new iteration of itself is better than the last to grant us charming pulses of pop purity.
