At first it seems so slowly turned out, but then when you have a singer carrying that much grief/burden/melancholy what else could you expect. London’s Annabell can’t hide the indefatigable light despite the dark circumstance that ‘Dead To Me’ might detail the end of something but there is an undeniable sense of new beginnings here too. So there is a chance for renewal, the jangling chords and of course those words have the potential to soar with each new dispatched syllable. Has the ability to make us all dream again, even if the tide has turned. KH
