Futon Blonde – Curse The Darkness

Those beats sure do fly off the handle and so the remainder of ‘Curse the Darkness’ had its work cut out to try and keep up. Austin’s Futon Blonde though are slick operators, futurists with a handle on the past and so there is a grandeur to this number despite the velocity in the momentum. I could see the astronauts finding favour with it at blast off and similarly the adrenaline junkies of the world as they embark on another death defying adventure. There is respite at stages for sluggish types too but only briefly, still I found the whole affair melodic as can be so we could deal with the dizziness and attendant headache without issue! KH
