You can certainly trace ‘Here Comes The End’ back to My Bloody Valentine and the Sundays into the bargain but Count The Clock (Michael Coe, singer Leannie and filmmaker Zach Lorkiewicz) serve us up such lovely harmonies they might just have discovered a branch of dreamgaze all of their own. This is uplifting immersive stuff, the kind that lifts us free from convention and into a fantasy world where anything is possible. That is one of the prime joys of music and on this occasion there is so much goodness and light it feels like the start of the much needed restorative process. KH
