The fuzz and interference that dropped as soon as ‘Lux Dei’ enters the fray was always going to sow the seeds for a positive impression on our end towards Italy’s Radio Pyongyang. And if anything things only soar skywards from thenceforth as the thick mosaic of post-shoegaze wraps its elegant swathe of otherworldliness around us like a 90’s comfort blanket that we didn’t think we were missing until now. This is disruptive, this is unsettling and this is sheer beauty. KH
