Well this is a different kind of soul for sure, harking back to another time and I was thinking the 70’s Jackson 5 such was the rich arrangements and a lead with the personality to hold the focus all by himself. ‘Eternity’ feels radio friendly but boasts the depth to appeal across the genres. The singing tones have a Phd (‘I Won’t Let You Down’) quality but there is also a groove so it won’t be beyond the groovers either. Marks Stuttgart’s Two Passengers out for sure and while commercially adept and not normally my bag this is pop that just seeps into your soul. Beautiful with hints of old school Air into the bargain.
