It is clear that JT Loux can bend a chord in a most splendid array of psychedelic ways. And so ‘Go Ahead’ streaks ahead in a fashion to allow us bed down in a work that understands that we’re in need of something chilled but primed with a sparkle in its collective eye at the same time. So ‘Go Ahead’ could have come from last century given the hint of country rock and the 100% tangible feeling of a real song that aims for anthemic and comes away with all the laurels. There sure is rich history in the air from Nashville’s JT Loux. KH
