Enemy Airship – Extinction Burst

I’d have put some Pete & The Pirates in there as an influence but they may be too vague a comparison for most. Regardless Extinction Burst sure did get me excited for it did appear as a most euphoric of indie rock assemblies from exactly nowhere and once there and the St. Louis band hardly let things slip beyond excitable. You be hearing early Arcade Fire and Frightened Rabbit but that combination of singer and giddy playing has such effervescence you can’t help feeling we’ve landed on something a bit new too. KH
