Club 8 have released so many singles this year I wonder whether they were banking on breaking a Guinness world record. It means we were put on constant notice for a new album (‘A Year With Club 8’) on the way and the Sweden duo have left their best effort for the last month of the year. ‘Nervous At Heart’ takes much of the heat out of their usual propulsive selves so we are left with the purest of indie pop songs and it makes for a twinkling set of Christmas lights set to music. A band to cherish. KH
