smalltalk – Snaggletooth

I knew there was going to be a lift in inner harmony with ‘Snaggletooth’, not least because of that title but also because we are dealing with our old faves smalltalk. It being an act who understand that in order to move forward we need to learn from the past and on this occasion the influences are clearly of the shoegaze variety, the slacker vibes atoo and even those of a post-grunge volition will be well catered for. It all works on that ethereal vocals amid the racing chords and propulsive percussion to create a stew of noise that distracts us from the external noise all around. It could be 1992 but all I’m hearing is the future. KH
