Must be that my heart is consistently set to Teenage Fanclub that their Northern England descendants Mt. Misery means we are putty in their hands. And ‘On My Mind’ from their new ‘Love In Mind’ is just part of that recurring pattern where we go all weak at the knees when a chorus such as this kicks in. All wrapped up in under two minutes and our insatiable thirst for indie pop satisfied thanks to that winning combination of vocal melodies and a flotilla of jangling guitars. Bliss. KH
