Duz Mancini – Rocket Out of Spain

Neat progression that is for sure, easy going shuffle with something spacey but Duz Mancini treats us to the home comforts of a crooner who knows how to roll out the welcome mat. ‘Rocket Out To Spain’ takes a good deal of craft to straddle the line between the mainstream and the alternative and Duz Mancini achieves it here with a flicker of U2 (and Bono in particular) along the way. I wouldn’t normally wouldn’t be putty in the hands of this kind of stuff but today I’m feeling and lapping up the goodness. KH
