‘Exits’ sure does burst out of its skin when you least expect it, from that quiet and demure opening to all out noise in seconds flat and Melbourne’s Cochlear Kill reminded me of Revolver from way back in the day as a result. Even better is the fact that ‘Exits’ packs a chorus that is heart-swelling. One for the headphones then, an opportunity for genuine escapism from music alone and that feels like a rare joy these days. A euphoric statement of intent from Cochlear Kill. KH
