Bomethius – Alright

Such a tidy approach from Bomethius (Jonathan Hodges) on this occasion, a song that has inbuilt swoon too so there is plenty here for romantic types to draw from. ‘Alright’ is retro fitted with a thread of Roy Orbison, involving a singer with a direct line to his inner emotions and with it an approach that is near the Cars in its pop infrastructure. So while the end result might be unconventional to a degree it feels like it is going to nourish us every time we turn up at its front door. KH
