There’s a psychedelic drift here that has a dream pop frequency but you can tell that the Reflections (two identical brothers based out of Brooklyn) were never going to mirror that scene completely because they’ve got their own winning ideas. And ‘Las Vegas (The City of Sin)’ is a delight because there are turns aplenty and every one laden down with melodic intent. There’s a beautiful innocence to ‘Las Vegas (The City of Sin)’, which is a collection of words I never thought I’d write. So if you’re in the market for magnificent new dimensions of sound this act have a scatter of them in the environs of a single tune. Alan Parson would be oh so proud, I’m sure of it. Drop dead gorgeous. KH
