The Lonesomes – Locket

Sure does feel like barrelling along is ‘Locket’s true course and in a world that lacks rebellion it is great to hear the Lonesomes grasping the nettle. This is incandescent stuff, reminding me a lot of the likes of Thee More Shallows an Shipping News from the mid noughties. So we’re left with a sink or swim scenario and it is invigorating as a result. It helps of course that the Lonesomes are not averse to pulling the rug from under us. Punk might have one more savour in this band, a lava filled statement of intent from this fiery act from Down Under. KH
