Seadreams – Preamble

It had me stuck between Explosions in the Sky and Sabres of Paradise as there is reverb there that could turn all groovy or meditative depending on Seadreams direction of travel. Turns out it was a post-rock state of mind and what a noisy denouement ‘Preamble’ housed, not a jump scare but a giant leap in the volume stakes from that ambient opening. Thankfully I love this kind of stuff, innovative soft/loud dynamics like this will just never go out of fashion. KH
