Orchid Mantis – Dead Malls (feat. Cathedral Bells)

That is some collaboration so I wasn’t in the least bit surprised that something entirely dreamy emerged, not your drippy kind either as ‘Dead Malls’ positively powers along as if in a hurry to get somewhere fast. Never disturbing the flotilla of vocal harmonies it must be said and it all amounted to something that you’d heave expected from the Pale Saints back in the day. With better production values it must be said as this is a fulsome production on headphones, albeit a short one as it is all wrapped up by the two minute mark. KH
