Mt. Misery – Hey – mp3hugger

Crikey this track made it feel as if we were back in Grand Prix territory from the fabled Scottish indie poppers Teenage Fanclub. And Hartlepool’s Mt. Misery don’t pale in the least in such esteemed company, their brand of jangled up harmonies the kind of thing for August days when love is high on the agenda even if is in rare supply. Innocence and charm in abundance so ‘Hey’ becomes an absolute must for those into the charmingly melodic side of the indie divide. The band’s new LP ‘Love In Mind’ comes out on November 1st. KH
