Mood, late night aural scenery set early on ‘Stranger’ and Max Bien Kahn has the croon to make good on all that intimacy setting. Reminded me a little of the Beta Band, an off-kilter way of being but something for us to whistle along to because there is a beacon of melody that settles naturally in our gut. Lightly experimental stuff and the kind that needs to take up residency on our stereo, I even felt a bit of Alan Parsons happening towards the end so the drift into happy consciousness was complete.
