Dr. Rocket – I Am A Bird

There is most definitely a tempered approach to ‘I Am A Bird ‘in the early stages, Seattle’s Dr. Rocket though appear to be keeping things in check until they could cut loose and let their inventive side flow. And on this evidence there would seem to be quite a lot of it to go around for ‘I Am A Bird’ spins on a sixpence on a number of occasions and with pleasing effects too it has to be said. So we get a sixties like set of harmonies amid the race to rock opera that so defines a large portion of the presentation. This track could have come out of 1970 or any year for the next 20 following that. Classic rock formations. KH
