‘Repeat’ feels like it’s as lo-fi as the alt 80’s got and so we got to doff our hat to Belgium’s capsuna and their ode to Sarah Records or at least the roster of acts that were released on that label. ‘Repeat’ is as good as its word, liable to pick-up plenty of rotation because it has a lovely girl/boy effect and the riffs offer able backdrop – forever foraging but in that knowingly twee way. Yep, it is right up our alley – an old sound brought lovingly back to life by this collective who can’t stop themselves from producing that feedback towards the end to apply the cherry on top! KH
