Tim Mountain – Missing

They send choppy chords our way, a good introduction and one that is suitably followed up with melodic vocals. A potent combination, to these ears at least and what New Jersey’s Tim Mountain does next is snowcap it all with a chorus that will send many a heart into a swoon action sequence. Yep, that summer feeling bottled in a song that gets our jovial spirit topped up no end and all that is needed to complete the effect a thousand arms in the air swaying in unison to ‘Missing’. The Shins might just have met their match, but I also heard plenty of the Matthew Jay sound of yore too. KH
