Sea Lemon – Crystals (feat. Benjamin Gibbard)

No getting away from Seattle’s Sea Lemon’s (Natalie Lew) quest to restore 90’s dreampop order. And they do it to even more transparent effect on ‘Crystals’, seeing fit to bring Benjamin Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie on board to share vocal duties. The result is heart-filling to a degree that we feel like kids again, full of hope and wonder and closing our eyes at the beautiful jangling guitars and harmonies filling the air all around. Anthemic stuff, romance is alive and well in 2024 alright. KH
