There is a quite a mix of styles here, dreampop but with an uncommon rummage in the indie-rock and even slacker department so Atlanta’s Lorie are pushing the envelope. That being said they have a manner that doesn’t hold back in the melodic interventions so while there are plenty of competing forces for the listener to take on board ‘Find Your Way’ still sounds like essential indie pop listening. That Lorie find the wherewithal to locate a crescendo almost by stealth is just another reason to fall for this giddy piece of invention. KH
