Loren Berí – Illusory Me (Zo Incontra il Fantasma)

An endlessly lively effort with all the moving parts that you could hope for, working in tandem like a centipede with its hands on all the instruments in the world so ‘Illusory Me’ often feels like we need to slow it down, stop it, let it absorb and then take off again. I guess I am trying to say that Loren Berí has done it again in created a bouncy piece of end of summerism that will likely be still a vital part of our soundtrack by the time the sun comes around again. He directs matters like he has the patent on how the birds in the trees do it themselves for this is chirpy and happy and all things nice. A pep in the step guaranteed and words to the wise about how creativity needs to come from within rather than from others. KH
