Decimal Decade – Pulp

Always room for something different, like a soundtrack from an 80’s TV drama that was never made. ‘Pulp’ is full of electro pop allure and with a visceral quality that you know would have worked so well with the non-cgi dramatics on screen. ‘Pulp’ could indeed have been Duran Duran or better still Limahl but Decimal Decade’s cleverest characteristic is that they retain a consistency that is not out of place in the 2020’s. I felt the undertow, the wind in my face as if we’re aboard a vehicle that is going to all the right places. Sumptuous work from Nico Tiparescu. KH
