Babe City – Two Tabs

‘Two Tabs’ really goes for it, guitars steamrolling our morning peace into the ground but being the shoegaze types we didn’t mind in the least. In fact it was open arms that greeted NYC’s Babe City for they combined all the infernal shoegaze feedback with the voice of an angel to give us the perfect contrast of tinnitus-inducing and heart-swelling. And still time to offer up an ambient sequence to have us daydreaming even though we’ve long stopped engaging in the practice. Loud as can be but reassuring as part of the bargain too. KH
