When she (Mia Larkin from North Carolina) sings she does more than that, she soars and so ‘Next To You’ becomes an anthem for romantic sorts the world over. Of course everyone else will be offered up the light show of a love story that peaks endlessly thanks to a central figure with an infinite inner passion. Articulate and flush with high notes you could be forgiven for forgetting the bulbous indie rock orchestration happening all around but the star of the piece is clear and had us issuing notes requesting stillness upon our beating heart.
