No doubt about it there is a dreamy aspect to ‘I Held An Echo’, apart from a great title there is jangling and sweet vocal entanglement to chow down on and it feels like we’ve been given access to the art of levity as a result. No surprise that the track was conceived in sunny LA because it has that kind of tropical aspect to it, almost detached at times but also reminding of Grandaddy’s finest era so there is a wealth of melancholy wrenched pop i there too. In short something that has us spilling our heart out for. KH
