She’s The Fastest – Onomatopoeia

Opening moments like this sure do get me hyped up and feeling as if the NYC based duo She’s The Fastest have learnt from the best of the 90’s. In other words they have a serious side but also one that is giddy and coming for your favourite disco down the local indie dive. I can picture the sweaty moshpit form on demand when the tempo changes, limbs a-flailing in time to She’s The Fastest beck and call. But ‘Onomatopoeia’ is also fitted with meaning and a crescendo that may just have the ammunition to stay the course and lift itself into indie anthem status. In other words ‘Onomatopoeia’ is an absolute keeper! KH
